that should weigh in at 36 with wood grips , maybe 38 ounces because of the rubber grips for that M66. my M66 2.5 inch weighs in at 32 ounces. my 4 inch M19-4 weighs in at 36 ounces and is the same gun as your M66 but blued.

The only thing I would add is Dillon offers a parts kit that is well worth the money. There is nothing worse than having an inexpensive part break and having to wait for a replacement. It includes the station pins in case you misplace one lol. You cant beat their warranty! No other company that I know of takes care of you the way they do. I only had to use it once and I was impressed. Thanks again for the video.

Update on the current market.....I paid $1,500 this week for one in 4" Nickel 99% condition....and considered it a fair deal. The new 2020 Python .....selling for close to that... has a lower quality set of sights, than the original, that won't hold zero (Wilson Combat is selling replacement sights !!) and the screws are not holding the side plates so the cylinder will sometimes not turn (Colt is upgrading the screws now) So, the 1976 Trooper seemed like a good move. But Colt will not take these older revolver for repair and parts are hard to come by and competent Smiths can be counted on one hand....if you get one to work on it it will be a 6 month wait. Unwanted advice: treat it as an old friend, enjoy the gun, shoot .38 Specials at the range, carry .357 ....and decline to allow anyone to dry fire it.
